Help me find an illustrated version of the snow queen i had as a child?
I can’t remember the name of the illustrator and i cant find it on the net, but it was a hardback, really beautiful book- i vividly remember the drawings which were very Victorian stylistically. There was one particularly memorable double spread drawing in which Gerda is in the garden smelling the rose. There was also a drawing of all the devils in the sky holding the mirror. i know its kind of vague but i cant find it anywhere without the name- and its not Dulac or Vladyslav… slim chance after that vague description but you never know!
You may try the forum links below , I hope you find your book – good luck .
